Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! If I could sum up all of what God has shown me in the last year in one sentence, it would go like this - "God is so faithful, and He loves His childrenl" As most of you probably know by now, Rope is the 2001 World Champion Steer Wrestler. (For those of you who don't know much about rodeo, that's a really big deal!!). If that would have been predicted at mid or even late season last year, only someone who truly understands the power of God would have believed It. But in the days leading up to and the ten days during the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, we witnessed and experienced the awesome presence and peace of God. Rope was tremendously successful in the arena, winning the World title and the NFR average, while shattering the arena record on ten head of steers. For steer wrestling fans It was thrilling watching him compete with such intensity and focus each performance. For us, it was round after round of the incredible blessings of God. Our prayer throughout the week was that all of you, our partners, would also share in the victory as you witnessed what our God is capable of. Thank you all for your prayerful support - we know that the abundance of peace that we experienced was because we were constantly being lifted up in prayer. We love and appreciate each of you.

Our schedule will change somewhat for 2002. Rope is going to significantly reduce his rodeo schedule, competing at only 35-40 events, instead of 90-100. He'll be spending more time with us on the ministry trail and at home. We're looking forward to being together as a family and concentrating on our journey with the Lord, We hope to see many of you in person in the coming months. As always, our itinerary on the back is just skeletal, and it seems like it's constantly changingl
